Projects are an integral
part of IEC's work. Implemented in partnership with local NGOs,
they work towards lasting, bottom-up, tangible change at grassroots
level. Through our projects, we see education working as a vehicle
for improvements in livelihood and well-being, and acting as a powerful
catalyst for community voice and change as groups form and grow
in confidence.
To date, the majority
of our projects have been based in Sub-Saharan Africa, however we
have recently been working on transferring lessons learnt in the
South to work with marginalised groups in the UK.
